All-rounder Khushdil Shah of Pakistan has stated that he is putting in a lot of effort to make an international impression in white-ball cricket once again and that he aspires to rejoin the Pakistan team.
Although Khushdil, 29, was selected man of the match in his most recent ODI encounter, he has been axed from both limited-overs formats since playing his final T20I match against England in October 2022.
Khushdil Shah said, “I was disappointed to be dropped from the ODI team based on my T20I performance,” in a recent interview. But the last time I played, I was named man of the match, and I’m working hard to secure a spot on the squad again.
The left-hander was left out of the T20 team due to his tendency to give up wickets at critical times and his inability to complete games in the game’s shortest format.
The left-hander has scored 309 runs at an average of 20.6 in 29 T20I games. It was clear that the hitter was out of form since his role as the T20I team’s finisher was unjustified.
