Veteran Pakistani actor Kashif Mehmood opened up on the challenges he faced during his acting career.
Kashif Mehmood is a highly skilled actor of Pakistani drama industry. The actor has showed his exceptional acting skills in many dramas. With a wealth of experience, he has portrayed many memorable characters and earned widespread appreciation.
In a recent interview on a local TV channel, Kashif shared the challenging circumstances he faced at the start of his career.
He revealed that for seven years, he worked in minor roles. “Firstly, I worked on PTV alongside Resham, where my face was barely visible”, he revealed.
Kashif said that despite all these challenges he continued to work with the belief that one day he would pay off. He said that along with the acting he ventured into production. “The first drama I produced was Ashiana. Although the drama was a low budget project, it proved a major millstone for my career”, Kashif shared.
He added that the drama turned out to be a huge success, but the channel failed to compensate him. However, when the show aired on PTV, he was able to repay the debts he had accumulated during its production.
Kashif said that despite the tough times, he never gave up, and his consistency to his career ultimately paid off.
