A local journalist Bachal Ghanio was shot dead in Ghotki Sindh, police have said.
Unknown suspects involved in the murder of the media-person.
Reports say the police shifted the Ghanio’s body to local hospital Obaro.
Suspects attacked Ghanio when he was visiting his fields.
Police is investigating the incident as the son of the slain journalist said his father’s opponents involved in the attack. He said his father settled the matters with the opponents yet they still killed him (Ghanio). He said opponents also attacked his father few years back.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has also taken notice of the incident and ordered arrest of the accused. He said the government will take strict action against people involved in murder of the journalist.
This is second incident of journalist killing in Ghotki Sindh in span of couple of months.
