JAC Motors Pakistan, in collaboration with Gandhara Automobiles, has recently entered the local automotive industry and announced the temporary suspension of bookings for its newly launched truck, the Jac T9 Hunter.
In a notification shared via social media, the company stated: “Due to your overwhelming trust and exceptional response, we are temporarily closing bookings for the Jac T9 Hunter at the end of business (COB) on January 15, 2025.
The company explained that this decision aims to ensure timely deliveries and maintain quality standards. They also expressed gratitude for the customers’ immense trust and support.
The recently launched Jac T9 Hunter gained significant popularity, competing with Toyota’s Hilux Revo in the market. The vehicle is priced at PKR 9,750,000.
The Jac T9 Hunter marks an exciting addition to the Pakistani automotive market, offering a fresh alternative in a segment dominated by the Toyota Hilux Revo for over a decade. Its introduction is expected to enhance market competition.
The T9 Hunter features an aggressive front design, highlighted by a large front grille with piano black mesh and chrome accents.
The dual-layered headlights include DRLs on top and fog lights with LED headlights below, giving the truck a bold and modern appearance.
The design incorporated piano black and matte grey accents, adding to its aesthetic appeal.
The truck is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel turbo engine capable of producing 168 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque.
Initial tests have demonstrated impressive performance, though long-term testing is still underway.
This temporary halt in bookings reflects Jac Motors’ commitment to delivering quality and meeting customer expectations promptly.
