A couple of days ago Israel issued an evacuation notice for Nabatieh. When a media person asked Mayor Ahmed Kahil if he would leave or not Mayor firmly replied that he would not leave his place.
The Israeli military claimed that Hezbollah sites in the Nabatieh region are their main target.
Israel declared that its navy attacked on various locations in southern Lebanon.
Israel further claimed that it had destroyed a Hezbollah tunnel near a border town, releasing footage of explosions. Lebanese government confirmed this claim identified the town as Mhaibib, known for its religious shrine.
The UN special coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert has condemned the recent Israeli strike in Nabatieh.
Lebanon’s health ministry reported that Israeli strikes have killed over 2,350 people and displaced over 1.2 million, over the past year.
Now Israel have targeted Lebanon giving its residents evacuation order.
