Despite the ceasefire agreement, Israel’s aggression in the West Bank continues. The Israeli air force attacked a coastal road west of the Nussirat camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip yesterday, seriously injuring 4 Palestinians.
This Israeli attack has come at a time when there is one day left for the start of negotiations for the second phase of the ceasefire.
It was agreed in the agreement between Israel and Hamas that they would start the second round of talks 16 days after the first phase of the ceasefire. The agreement will be completed in 16 days on Monday.
According to international media, Red Crescent medical personnel had earlier said that a boy was killed in the attack but later said that the injured person had been rescued.
On the other hand, the Israeli army said that an Israeli plane attacked a suspicious vehicle heading towards northern Gaza outside the inspection route agreed in the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli army did not provide details about the impact of the attack or casualties, but said, “We are ready for any situation, the IDF will continue to take any necessary action to thwart any immediate threat.”
It should be noted that after a long war, fighting was stopped after the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas last month.
In the second phase of negotiations, it is expected that all Israeli hostages will be released along with a complete ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.
