A video of a heated altercation between a woman and a motorcyclist has been making rounds on Pakistani social media, leading to widespread speculation and misinformation that she is Salman Akram Raja’s sister. The incident, which took place in Islamabad, reportedly stemmed from a minor traffic accident.
Following the video’s circulation, several social media users claimed that the woman involved was related to a well-known political figure, Salman Akram Raja’s sister. However, these allegations have been debunked.
As per Geo News, In a media statement, Salman Akram Raja categorically denied any familial ties with the woman, stating, “She is not my sister, and I have no relation to her.” Additionally, law enforcement authorities have confirmed that there is no political connection to the incident.
According to Islamabad Police, an official investigation is underway, and a case has been registered at the Women Police Station. Senior Superintendent Muhammad Shoaib Khan stated that the authorities have found no evidence supporting the online claims linking the woman to any politician.
Despite these clarifications, the video continues to circulate, highlighting the rapid spread of misinformation on digital platforms.
