Following the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli attack, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also been moved to a safe location.
In his statement, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged all Muslims to stand with Hezbollah and the people of Lebanon.
Reuters reported while quoting the Iranian sources revealed that Ayatollah Khamenei has been relocated to an undisclosed location, with security tightened around him.
Iranian officials confirmed that Khamenei was moved to a secure place within the country.
They further stated that Iran remained in contact with Hezbollah leaders and other allies to devise the next course of action after Israel’s recent announcement.
The Israeli military confirmed on social media platform X on Saturday that Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah had been martyred, following which the dire situation at Hezbollah’s headquarters became apparent.
According to Iran’s official news agency Tasnim, in a statement, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said that the martyrdom of unarmed civilians in Lebanon has exposed the brutal nature of the Zionist regime. It has also shown how narrow-minded the policies of the occupying regime’s leaders are.
In his statement, the Iranian Supreme Leader remarked that the terrorist gang ruling the Zionist regime has not learned from the year-long war in Gaza. They fail to understand that the massacre of women, children, and civilians will not weaken the resistance or force it to surrender. Now, they are trying to implement the same policy in Lebanon.
He added that the Zionist criminal group must realize they are incapable of damaging the strong structure of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
All resistance forces in the region are standing with Hezbollah and offering full cooperation.
Khamenei emphasized that the people of Lebanon could not forget when the occupying forces had entered Beirut, and it was Hezbollah that stopped them and brought pride to Lebanon.
He said the Lebanese also could not forget the time when the occupying regime’s forces were advancing toward Beirut, and Hezbollah successfully resisted them.
“Today, by the grace of Allah, Lebanon will once again shame the enemy for their aggression and hollow actions,” said the Iranian supreme leader.
The Iranian Supreme Leader appealed to Muslims worldwide to unite and stand with the people of Lebanon and Hezbollah.
