RIYADH – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, received in Riyadh on Thursday his Iranian counterparty Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
At the outset of the reception, the Saudi minister welcomed the Iranian FM on his first visit to Riyadh. Then, the Iranian official signed the visitor book, expressing his aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two sides held a session of bilateral talks, during which they reviewed the joint relations and ways to enhance and develop them in all fields. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and the efforts made.
Additionally, they discussed means of intensifying consultative meetings at the bilateral and multilateral levels to achieve more positive prospects and serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Sati.
