Iranian forces allegedly killed over 260 Afghan migrants and injured several by opening fire near the Kalgan border.
According to Haalvsh, a human rights organization of Iran, Iranian forces allegedly killed 260 Afghans crossing borders on Sunday evening.
Afghan migrants who survived in this attack described about the terrifying moments. They said that Iranian military forces launched an attack on the group.
Haalvsh reported that two survivors claimed approximately 300 migrants were trying to cross the border when they were fired upon and targeted with RPGs. The organization also reported that many migrants sustained injuries in this assault.
Survivors also uploaded some pictures of this incident on social media. These pictures show that several migrants had been shot multiple times.
However, Iranian officials have yet to comment on the incident.
