International Punjabi Conference has begun in Lahore’s Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC).
It is second annual event in a row and will continue for three days. Featuring different sessions on diverse topics covering rich culture of East (India) and West (Pakistan) Punjab, known personalities are set to address.
Known activist Ahmad Raza Punjabi and his team is organising the sitting. Guest speakers from India, Canada, UK, USA will also deliver lectures. Thousands from across Punjab will attend.
Different signers will perform folk and modern songs and music.
Nasir Dhillon, a YouTuber who actively involved in promoting Punjab culture through his channel, has reached Wahga border to welcome the guests coming to attend the event from India.
He expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements and said the conference will serve as source to promote peace in Pakistan and India. He said people from both sides of Punjab are wishing to come close to each other. Nasir said Punjabi activists are making efforts to bring the people together.
Ahmad Raza, the organiser, said International Punjab Conference will host dozens of events during next three days. He said known Punjabi intellectual from across the world are reaching Lahore to address the gathering. He said thousands of Punjabi lovers to attend the conference.
