In the Karsaz traffic accident case, the Additional District and Sessions Judge (East) granted interim bail on Wednesday to Danish Iqbal, the husband of the main suspect, Natasha.
Danish Iqbal had petitioned the court for pre-arrest bail. During the hearing, the judge requested Danish to remove his mask before approving his bail request.
The court approved the bail on the condition that Danish Iqbal provide surety bonds valued at one lakh rupees.
It is important to note that Natasha, who allegedly ran over Imran Arif, his daughter Amna, and injured five others on Karsaz Road, is currently in judicial custody following a Karachi East court’s order for her appearance.
Recently, the Karachi police added an additional charge against Natasha Danish in connection with the Karsaz accident.
The original case involved the deaths of Imran Arif, aged 60, and his daughter Amna near Karsaz on August 19. According to investigators, Natasha was driving from her home in DHA Scheme-I to her in-laws’ house, a short distance away, when the tragic incident took place.
