Bollywood star Imran Khan is gearing up for a return to acting after a nine-year hiatus, with a new Netflix film supported by his uncle, Aamir Khan.
According to Indian entertainment reports, the upcoming project marks Imran’s comeback, with his uncle’s production company backing the film.
Imran, who first appeared as a child actor in Aamir’s popular movies like ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, made his adult debut in 2008 with ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
His last film appearance was in 2015’s ‘Katti Batti’.
The new film, which is set to be a romantic comedy, will be directed by Danish Aslam, known for his work on ‘Break Ke Baad’. Details about the film’s title and its female lead are still under wraps.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is preparing for his next project, the sequel to ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’.
