According to a report by ARY News on Tuesday, Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has relieved Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent figure within the party, from significant party roles.
The report revealed that the decision to remove Marwat from key positions was made by the party’s core committee.
Marwat’s name no longer appears on the list of individuals authorized to meet Imran Khan in Adiala jail. The new designated individuals include Umar Ayub, Barrister Ali Zafar, Shibli Faraz, and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
The authorities at Adiala jail have been informed about this development.
Following Eid-ul-Fitr, PTI and various opposition parties are planning to establish an alliance to initiate an anti-government movement in the country.
The opposition alliance will also include the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Majlis-e-Wadhat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), and Balochistan National Party (BNP).
