Former prime minister and founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has announced to organize a series of pro-judicial rallies that would start on October 2 in Mianwali, Faisalabad, and Bahawalpur.
“We are going to demonstrate at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on October 5, and on October 4, Friday, we are going to gather at D-Chowk [in Islamabad],” Khan stated in a message sent on Monday from Adiala Jail to his followers.
In addition to stating that his incarceration was a component of the larger plan, Khan warned of tries to “crush PTI” through the alleged “London Plan.” “They are interested in breaking me in jail, but I am not nervous, and neither can the people be,” he said.
Placing emphasis on the nonviolent nature of PTI’s rallies, he said, “We have always demonstrated peacefully, but this system was unsuccessful to uphold people.”
Khan also drew attention to the party’s treatment of women, saying, “Our women are suffering in jails.” Nobody gave any thought when an 80-year-old woman was accused.
As Gandapur has been leading a march towards Islamabad, Khan expressed support for him and said that Gandapur “awakened the province’s people” in addition to echoing his demand for revolution.
“Ali Amin was right; rebellion will come, and our point of view has reached the public,” Khan continued.
The leader of the PTI reaffirmed his party’s dedication to upholding the law and carrying on their “fight for freedom.”
In addition, he brought up his wife Bushra Bibi, who has been detained for a number of months, and said that the government was attempting to undermine him by making arrests.
