The IHC has asked that the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) be made a party in the case related to the recovery of missing person Faizan Usman.
The sector commander of the ISI was also directed by the court to support the inquiry of the Inspector General of Islamabad.
Judge Babar Sattar gave an order to the authorities during the hearing to locate the kidnapped citizen by Thursday.
The Inspector General was given instructions by the court to track down the missing person’s phone number and vehicle, emphasizing the urgency of taking prompt action.
The petitioner recounted a terrifying experience in which he described how strangers broke into his house, searched it, and removed his son on the grounds that they could have had ties to a banned organization.
The family has made many trips to the authorities’ offices and tries to get in touch with them, but they have not been able to find out where their child is.
In addition, the petitioner submitted video evidence that showed a car near his house with a Quetta license plate.
He said the family was advised not to approach the courts or the media, and he was afraid for his son’s safety.
The Islamabad High Court has firmly ordered that Faizan Usman be allowed to recover, postponing the case until Thursday.
The federal government unveiled a new effort last month in August as part of the “National Consensus and Legal Resolution” program to help missing individuals’ families financially. Each impacted family would get Rs. 5 million to help with their financial struggles.
The administration made it clear that this action should not be seen as the state or its institutions taking responsibility for anything.
