Iddat case verdict will be announced on June 27, the judge of the local court in Islamabad said.
The court made it clear that no additional time would be provided to parties, considering the possibility of delaying tactics used by any side.
The judge vowed he would announce the verdict even if no party made appearance before the court on the said date. “I will go to the recorded history of the case for the verdict,” said the judge as presided over the proceeding session today.

Advocate Salman Akram Raja represents the PTI founder chairman Imran Khan in the case. Usman Riaz Gill is lawyer of Bushra Bibi and Zahid Asif Chaudhry represents Khawar Maneka.
While talking to media, Advocate Salman Akram Raja said the case was an attack on the rights of Pakistani women. He said he presented plenty of examples against the case from the Supreme Court judgments, hoping for justice.
The court stated that the verdict on the appeals for suspension of sentence to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to be announced on June 27.
