About 100 female nurses would be exported by the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a department linked to the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, to a health company in Malaysia.
According to an official who spoke with APP on Thursday, the need for female nurses in Malaysia is growing with time as a result of the highly skilled and knowledgeable medical personnel that is currently employed in the country’s many hospitals.
According to him, OEC had previously indicated that job searchers might apply for positions in Malaysia with the required education and experience.
He stated that 100 nurses with a diploma in nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (16) or post-RN training from an accredited school were needed for the ICU.
In addition to having at least three years of relevant professional experience in a hospital environment, the candidate should be registered with the Nursing Council.
According to him, it would be ideal to have specialized post-basic training in pediatrics, OT/ICU, and age no older than 45. The base pay per month will be between RM3,000 and RM4,500.
The health company would provide a monthly allowance, which would include OT and ICU specialized allowances as well as general nursing allowance for pediatric nurses.
Specialized allowance (RM1,100), general nursing allowance (RM700), degree allowance (RM400), and post basic allowance (RM800) are among the allowances.
The official also disclosed the terms and circumstances of the employment contract. He stated that the wage boost payout is retroactive to January and that the confirmed employee’s compensation would be evaluated annually in March, taking into account their performance and market position.
Bonus is payable at the end of the two-year contract; one month’s worth of bonus is awarded for each year of service.
