WB Games has officially announced a sequel to the hit 2023 game Hogwarts Legacy, a journey into the Harry Potter universe.
Hogwarts Legacy has been a top selling game in the U.S. in 2023. It is a role-playing game that allows players to experience life in Hogwarts and takes them back to 1890s.
Now this sequel will tie into Warner Bros’ upcoming Harry Potter TV reboot, which is planned for the Max streaming platform.
President of Warner Bros, David Haddad said that the game’s immense popularity has inspired the studio to further expand the franchise.
“This sequel will present a story content adding even more depth to the game”, David stated.
WB Games expressed that this sequel would attract wide range of audience, presenting a unique blend of the magical worlds of gaming.
Hogwarts Legacy fans are super excited at this announcement. However, some fans have concerns about how the sequel’s storyline will link to the new Harry Potter series.
Responding to these concerns WB Games announced that this expanded universe can attract both dedicated gamers and fans of the upcoming show.
Hogwarts Legacy originally launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. It later became available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
