Famous Indian actor Hina Khan shared her journey of stage three breast cancer on X.
Hina Khan was diagnosed breast cancer in June 2023. Since then she is undergoing treatment.
Recently Hina took to X and posted a video of an event in which she participated. The clip shows that she is feeling tired even after standing for an hour at an event.
In the video Hina was wearing sneakers with sari. She was rushing towards an elevator.
“What a day it was. As you know, I have this neuropathic pain. It makes extremely difficult for me to stand more than a few minutes. This event was actually a commitment I made months ago, before the side effects of my treatment became apparent.” Hina told.
Hina said that fighting with cancer is incredibly tough. “It involves bearing chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions”, she told.
Hina also talked about her initial feelings about the event. “I’ll be honest, at first, I wanted to cancel because this event required me to stand on stage for an hour and a half. I was extremely nervous and was not not sure if I could do so”, she said.
Hina also shared her choice to wear sneakers under sari, “Nowadays, anything covering my feet gives me comfort when walking. That’s why i decided to wear comfy pair of shoes beneath my saree.” she explained.
Despite the pain of breast cancer Hina remains committed to her work and aspirations.
She also expressed gratitude for her ability to continue achieving her dreams.
“I feel blessed to have what I have, even while facing this painful phase of my life. I am thankful to the Almighty to make me able to do this”, Hina said.
Hina said that with the help of God and her team, she managed somehow to attend the event. She also gave credit to herself, saying “I am so proud of myself for not giving up.”
