Hera Pheri 3 is set to begin filming by the end of 2025, as officially announced by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
Speaking in an interview, the Akshay shared his enthusiasm for the project, which fans have eagerly awaited for years.
“If all goes according to plan, we should begin shooting by the end of this year”, Akshay revealed.
Akshay also announced that the script has completed and preparations for filming are in full swing.
He said that this project is just as thrilling for him as it is for the fans. ” When we created the first Hera Pheri, none of us imagined it would become such a cult favorite. It was funny, yes, but we never expected it to become this iconic,” Akshay shared.
The original Hera Pheri (2000), directed by Priyadarshan, became a massive hit. This film presented the incredible chemistry between Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty.
As the film hit the cinema with, it led to Phir Hera Pheri 2, which released in 2006. This film also extended the franchise’s status, making it a significant contributor in Indian comedy cinema.
Akshay’s announcement that production on Hera Pheri 3 is finally to kick off at the end of the year, it has sparked a wave of excitement among fans.
The original trio—Akshay Kumar as Raju, Paresh Rawal as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, and Suniel Shetty as Shyam—will return to reprise their iconic roles, continuing the hilarious adventures of their beloved characters.
