The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will feature full-match Urdu commentary for the first time in the league’s history, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
A PCB statement stated that every match in the HBL PSL 10 would be fully covered in Urdu, giving cricket fans the opportunity to watch live action in their native tongue, Express News said.
The action is viewed as a component of the league’s larger endeavor to improve its relationship with regional viewers and increase the broadcast’s accessibility.
PSL Chief Executive Salman Naseer stated, “We want to connect with the hearts of our fans through cricket, which is a unifying force in Pakistan.” For those who support us, this is a momentous occasion.
Details about the broadcast, including as the English and Urdu commentary panels, will be revealed closer to the tournament’s start date.
The 10th season of the PSL is set to start on April 11.
According to local reports, Ramiz Raja, the former chairman of the PCB and a well-known voice from past seasons, is not on the current commentary list.
