Paris Olympics winner Arshad Nadeem has revealed the status of announced rewards of government.
Arshad made the nation proud by winning javelin throw competition in Olympics. Arshad brought Olympic gold and made a world record. His success brought a sense of joy and unity to the country.
Recently, Arshad appeared in an interview of a local TV channel. During the interview Arshad talked about his journey from a commoner to a national hero.
Arshad said that he received a warm welcome after winning gold in Olympics. He also talked about the prizes that the government of Pakistan has announced for him.
“I have received many of government rewards while some are pending”, Arshad revealed.
It is pertinent to note that Arshad received substantial amounts from ministers of Pakistan totaling in the crores. Governments of all provinces and federation announced heavy amount rewards for Javelin throw winner.
During the interview Arshad confirmed that the government has fully paid his prize money this time. He also disclosed that some private sponsors have also announced reward for him.
“Many private sponsors have granted rewards for me. However, a few rewards from private sources are pending”, Arshad told.
Arshad expressed his appreciation for all the recognition and rewards he has received for his achievements.
