The Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training recently met with the Google for Education team and its local partner Tech Valley to discuss plans for Pakistan’s education system.
Details reveal that 30,000 Google for Education IDs, which contain AI-powered features like practice sets and a suite of digital tools for improved productivity and collaboration, will be distributed to 50 Smart schools in Islamabad.
In the course of the meeting, several upcoming projects were discussed, such as teacher workshops on Google for Education tools, the creation of a public Google Reference School, the training of 2000 youth with Google Career Certificates in employable skills, and the possibility of working with the Ministry of Federal Education in Pakistan to host an Edutech event.
