For the first time in Pakistani history gold price has soared over Rs275,000, following an increase of Rs 2,500 per tola on Wednesday.
There is a significant increase in the price of 10 grams of gold rising by Rs2,144 to reach Rs236,197.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold has climbed to Rs216,514.
Several factors contributed to this surge, including expectations of a US interest rate cut and increased purchases from China and India, pushing gold to unprecedented heights.
In the global market, gold prices have risen by $25, reaching a record level of $2,653.
