Gaddafi Stadium Lahore will formally be inaugurated by Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Wednesday in a grand ceremony.
There will be musical events featuring popular singers Ali Zafar, Arif Lohar, and Aima Baig.
Their mesmerizing performances will further highlight the event and bring enthusiasm to the celebration.
According to the PCB, an exquisite light show accompanied by a fantastic fireworks display are in store on the occasion.
On the match day, an official ceremony with the launching of Pakistan’s Champions Trophy kit also forms a significant part of it.
As public participation will remain at an optimal level, tickets for attending this ceremony are also free.
Meanwhile, construction and decorative work at the National Stadium have been completed.
The stadium now features a five-story building with newly designed dressing rooms.
For the first time, a fully equipped kitchen has been added to the facilities.
New seating arrangements have also been installed for the spectators. Two advanced digital screens have been installed for better match viewing.
The installation of modern floodlights has also been completed, which will improve the stadium’s lighting for nighttime events.
The efforts of upgrading both the stadiums are the joint efforts towards Pakistan’s upgrade in cricketing infrastructure.
Gaddafi Stadium’s opening and renovations at the National Stadium are steps towards progress.
