The federal government has declared a public holiday to hold a celebration to commemorate the Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
As per the official communication, the event would be celebrated on September 17, 1446 Hijri.
On this day, all educational institutions, whether schools or colleges, together with public, semi-public, and private offices in the whole country will observe a holiday.
A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad was held in the capital of Islam on Wednesday and reported that no sighting of the moon for Rabi ul Awal took place. Therefore, the next month of the Islamic calendar started today September 6.
It is approximated that every Muslim worldwide, celebrates the day of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi on the 12th of Rabi ul Awal which occurs in the third month of the lunar Islamic calendar.
This day is marked with public meetings, activities, and talk shows educating people about the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed PBUH.
