The federal government has declared large price reductions for petroleum-related goods.
The Federal Ministry of Finance released a statement stating that while high-speed diesel prices have decreased by Rs 7.88, petrol prices have decreased by Rs 15.39.
The cost of light diesel oil has also been reduced by Rs 7.54.
After these modifications, the new rates for petrol are Rs 273.10, high-speed diesel is Rs 274.08, and light diesel is Rs 161.17.
The updated rates will take effect for the upcoming two weeks on May 16.
On May 1st of this month, the government lowered the price of petrol by Rs 5.45 and diesel by Rs 8.42.
