The cross border rapper duo took to Instagram to share a heartwarming snapshot of the two posing together that received immense love from their fandoms.
Shafi, a Pakistani singer, actor, and rapper, is considered a force to be reckoned with in Lollywood. From his lyrical excellency to his impeccable acting skills, there’s isn’t much that Faris cannot do!
Singh, on the other hand, needs no introduction! The iconic Punjabi singer-rapper is one of the greatest stars to grace Bollywood industry. With his catchy beats, fun lyrics and effervescent personality, Singh has etched himself as an icon in India.
Singh and Shafi were captured in a recording studio, possibly hinting at an upcoming project that would transcend boundaries. In the photo, the two music genius can be seen holding each other’s arms.
“Welcome my brother from LAHORE,” Singh wrote and called Shafi “the hiphop Icon.”
The instance had everyone oozing love for the artists across border where some wondered if the duo will be collaborating on an upcoming project. Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat also dropped a comment saying, “So happy to see you two together” followed by a heart emoji.

Pakistani and Indian actors have been quite interactive over the past years. Many Lollywood stars ventured into Bollywood including Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Humaima Malick, Imran Abbas, Ali Zafar, and more. However, political differences got the best of both entertainment fraternities and collaborations came to a halt.
On the work front, Singh boasts an illustrious discography with many block busters hits including Desi Kalakaar, Love Dose, Dope Shope, Brown Rang, Lungi Dance and many more under his belt.
Shafi, on the flip side, recently starred in Bilal Lashari’s megahit The Legend of Muala Jatt, showcasing his acting skills.
