Faisal Vawda, revealed that former DG ISI General (R) Faiz Hameed will either face the death penalty or life imprisonment.
Vawda mentioned he is leaving the country and would bring good news from abroad.
He expressed embarrassment over the reversal of judicial decisions, stating that the situation is shameful for the nation.
Vawda suggested that Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Barrister Gohar would not be seen in significant roles. Whereas, both the government and PTI want to keep Imran Khan in jail.
In a conversation with Shaukat Paracha on the TV show ‘Rubro,’ Vawda clarified that Faiz Hameed is not becoming a witness for immunity.
He assured that Faiz Hameed’s punishment and court martial will not stop. As per him, the Army Chief has initiated an accountability process.
Vawda also disclosed that the purchase of 1,010 vehicles had been halted. According to him, the Chairman of the FBR had contacted him, even threatening him.
He added that there is intense pressure for him to appear before the FIA, but he is no weak individual and possesses all the evidence.
If something happens to him, he vowed to make sure those responsible would be remembered by their descendants.
Vawda’s claims about PTI
Vawda praised Junaid Akbar as a good and loyal member of PTI, but he doubted Akbar could do much for Imran Khan.
He further stated that Ali Amin Gandapur would no longer remain the CM of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as the PML-N government would attempt to protect him.
Vawda also commented that PTI members would try to sabotage Junaid Akbar’s efforts.
He claimed that corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was not new, and even the founder of PTI had acknowledged it.
He stated that despite Junaid Akbar’s potential, Gandapur controls all resources and would block Akbar’s progress. Eventually, Akbar would be forced to resign.
He remarked that the goal of both the government and PTI is to imprison Imran Khan, and Barrister Gohar. Hence, an honest person, will also not remain PTI Chairman, as the mafia would overpower him.
Vawda emphasized that the Punjab government should allow PTI to hold rallies, as no one else could fill the Minar-e-Pakistan ground but Imran Khan.
Vawda claimed that PTI’s upcoming protests aim to sabotage Turkish President’s visit and the ongoing championship.
It intends to damage Pakistan’s international standing.
Moreover, he said that all the protests and sit-ins were mere theatrics, and that Gandapur would escape via Haripur.
He concluded by acknowledging Maulana Fazlur Rehman as a shrewd politician who might protest for his own interests but would not support PTI.
He questioned who the opposition would form a grand alliance with.
