England cricket team has been given VVIP protocol during their tour of Pakistan. This protocol was similar to the status typically reserved for the country’s president.
Government sources confirmed that the Prime Minister’s Office directed full VVIP treatment for the visiting English players and officials. The Cabinet Division instructed the Interior Ministry to ensure top-level security, particularly in Multan and Rawalpindi, where matches will take place.
In a press conference held in Karachi, Pakistan’s Test captain Shan Masood discussed the team’s preparation for the upcoming series against England.
Shan emphasized the importance of teamwork and players support, especially after their disappointing performance against Bangladesh.
He acknowledged the team’s recent struggles but expressed their determination to improve and deliver memorable performances.
Shan highlighted the lessons learned from last year’s defeats, including critical losses in the Bangladesh series.
He admitted the team’s responsibility for the setbacks but assured that they are working hard to achieve better results.
