Aamir Jamal and Agha Salman, who had contributed 69 runs for the seventh wicket yesterday, resumed batting, with Salman quickly reaching his half-century.
Agha Salman and Aamir Jamal played confidently to add 109 runs for the seventh wicket.
Jamal attempted to score his second century of the match but got caught off guard by an incoming delivery from Jack Leach, resulting in an LBW decision.
Agha Salman scored 63 runs before Pakistan lost their seventh wicket at 191 runs.
At the other end, Aamir Jamal also reached his half-century, giving Pakistan a fleeting hope of avoiding an innings defeat, but no other player could provide support.
Shaheen Shah Afridi had a chance to capitalize when an English fielder dropped a catch upon his arrival at the crease, but he only managed to score 10 runs.
England quickly wrapped up Pakistan’s innings, dismissing the entire team for 220 runs and securing victory by an innings and 47 runs.
