According to recent filings with the Federal Election Commission, MAGA billionaire Elon Musk has contributed around $75 million to America PAC, his pro-Donald Trump political action organization, in the last three months.
Alongside contributors like Miriam Adelson, who contributed $95 million towards her own pro-Trump PAC during the same time period, Musk’s huge donation places him among the Republican Party’s largest financial boosters.
Musk’s funding organization, America PAC, has already invested over $72 million during July and September, emphasizing grassroots initiatives above ostentatious advertising campaigns.
Musk, the richest man in the world and the CEO of Tesla, also intends to travel to Pennsylvania to deliver a number of “talks” aimed at mobilizing voters and gathering useful personal information for get-out-the-vote campaigns.
Voter turnout in swing areas like Pennsylvania, where Musk has been aggressively campaigning with Trump, is the main goal of this PAC.
Given that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has raised more money than Trump’s has, Musk’s PAC is vital to Trump’s election campaign.
Musk’s backing is essential to Trump’s victory in battleground states since Harris and her affiliated organizations have raised more than $1 billion since she was announced as the Democratic nominee just over three months ago.
Richard Uihlein, an Illinois businessman, and Timothy Mellon, a Wyoming banking heir, are two more billionaires who are backing Trump’s campaign.
However, despite Musk’s substantial financial donations, sources indicate that America PAC has encountered internal difficulties as a result of Musk’s hands-on style, such as difficulties recruiting and keeping canvassers in crucial areas like Arizona and Nevada.
