CEO of Tesla and X, Elon Musk has boosted his financial support for Former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. Elon gave $44 million to a pro-Trump super PAC, America PAC in early October. As reported by federal records, Musk is one of the largest supporters of Trump, following his recent donation and previous donations of $75 million between July and September. America PAC has already spent more than $47 million to promote Trump’s campaign in October.
Donald Trump’s election campaign solely relies on outside funding for voter outreach. Musk’s contribution and America PAC efforts put Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris in a tight situation. Although Trump’s team spent $88 million on ads in early October, Harris’s campaign has outpaced this, investing $130 million in ads and retaining $119 million in reserve as of mid-October.
