Electricity prices will decrease in the coming days, Federal Minister, Rana Tanveer Hussain told the media in Islamabad, on Sunday.
Providing his views on the matter he stated that in his opinion leadership by Shehbaz Sharif was hastening ventures.
According to him, it would, under normal circumstance, take months to finish working.
Lately, the country has witnessed a hike in electricity prices.
He complemented Sharif for completing all those projects just within a really short period.
Hussain went on to criticize the PTI-led government by saying that it had seriously damaged the economy of the country when it was in power.
He maintained that their bad leadership had left the economy in a very deplorable condition.
He assured the people that the government is fully committed to implementing policies. It aims at reviving the economy despite all these hindrances.
Hussain said that the leadership was targeting the country toward long-term growth and prosperity.
Moreover, Pakistan’s economy is expected to grow by three percent, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The International Monetary Fund published a range of predictions for global and regional economies in its World Economic Outlook report.
The report states that the economic growth in Pakistan is expected to be at three percent.
Earlier, government’s target for this year stands at 3.6 percent. The IMF believed that the country would grow a little better during the next fiscal year at four percent.
All these figures portray continued problems at both the local economy and the international level.
The report analyzed growth trends in other major economies as well.
It revealed that India’s economy is also likely to grow by 6.5 percent for the current and next fiscal years.
This steady performance underlines India’s resilience in the face of global economic uncertainties.
