Security forces have killed eight terrorists in Razmak North Waziristan.
ISPR stated forces conductedan intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the area.
As per Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) the armed forces conducted an overnight operation on September 25 to target suspected terrorists.
It stated that intense fire exchange took place between forces and Khawarij during operations. And as a result of which, eight terrorists were sent to hell, said the ISPR.
“Forces recovered weapons and ammunition,” said the military’s media wing. It added terrorist remained actively involved in terror activities against security forces and innocent civilians.
As per ISPR, armed forces are carrying sanitisation of the area to eliminate any threat. The army vowed to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to the security forces for their bravery. He said that the operation against terrorism will continue till the eradication of menace.
Army Chief Syed Asim Munir has recently visited Wana where he also pledged that armed forces would continue to provide support and technical assistance to law enforcement agencies (LEAs), particularly KP police to enhance their capabilities and strength.
Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi commended security forces for carrying out a successful operation.
In a post on X, Naqvi appreciated the forces, declaring terrorists as the burden of earth. “The security forces took timely action and brought eight terrorists to a terrible end,” he wrote.
