A magnitude 5.1 earthquake rocked Lahore and many other Punjabi cities, including Jhelum, Kamalia, Gujrat, and Lahore.
The earthquake caused widespread fear, with people fleeing their houses and structures.
There were reports of the tremors in Wazirabad, Shahkot, Bhalwal, Jalalpur Bhattian, Nankana Sahib, and other cities.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), the epicentre of the earthquake was 15 kilometers deep and close to Kharian.
After the shocks, people recited Kalma-e-Tayyaba as they evacuated their homes in fright.
However, after the earthquakes, there have been no reports of property damage or injuries.
