An earthquake struck Sibi and its surrounding areas early on Friday morning, causing noticeable tremors that unsettled residents.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 18 kilometers.
The epicenter was located 22 kilometers from Sibi, Balochistan with tremors recorded at 5:20 a.m.
Just two weeks earlier, the Zhob district in Balochistan province, Pakistan, experienced tremors from another earthquake. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad reported this earlier quake at a stronger magnitude of 5.0, with a depth of 35 kilometers and an epicenter 106 kilometers south of Zhob.
