The citizens holding a driving license from Sindh can now apply for an online driving license permit from their home or anywhere in the world.
HOW CAN YOU GET INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE IN SINDH?
Another good news regarding driving licenses is that citizens across Sindh can now obtain international driving licenses in their own cities.
Previously, this service was only available at one branch in Clifton, Karachi.
According to DIG Training and Licensing, Iqbal Dara, the issuance of international permits has now been started online and from 11 driving license branches across Sindh.
Starting from September 14, international driving permits are being issued from branches in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana, and six driving license branches in Karachi.
DIG Iqbal Dara mentioned that with the introduction of this new facility, by Thursday, the highest number of international driving permits, 693, were issued from the Clifton branch. In DL Hyderabad, 52 permits were issued, 23 from DL Korangi, 1 each from DL Malir Saeedabad, 104 from DL Nazimabad, and 65 from PFC South. Citizens have also obtained their international driving permits online from the comfort of their homes.
According to Iqbal Dara, any citizen holding a permanent driving license issued by Sindh does not need to visit a driving license branch.
DRIVING PERMIT THROUGH TCS
The citizens can apply for an international driving permit from their home or anywhere in the world, and it will be sent to their provided address via TCS.
He further added that the fee for the international driving permit, amounting to 1,088 rupees, can be paid online.
