The Republican candidate for president in 2024, former US President Donald Trump, has criticized Fox News for announcing an interview with his opponent Kamala Harris, saying the network has become “weak and easy on Democrats.”
In social media tweets, Trump claimed that Bret Baier, who would be questioning Harris on Wednesday, had a strong left-leaning slant.
Trump also accused Ian Sams, Harris’s spokeswoman, of “virtually owning [Fox],” which includes Neil Cavuto and other Fox News leaders.
Trump said in one of his postings that Lyin Kamala Harris had made a good choice in selecting Bret Baier of Fox News to perform a much-needed interview since Baier is regarded as “Fair & Balanced,” despite frequently being extremely lenient with folks on the “cocktail circuit” Left.
Trump went on to say that he would prefer it if “a more hard-hitting journalist” conducted Harris’ interview.
Additionally, in his article, Trump disparaged anchors such as Cavuto, Eric Shawn, and Arthel Neville. He also criticized Democrats who appear on Fox, saying that “Fox has completely lost its way.”
“How many hours does Lyin’ Kamala Harris’s senior advisor, Ian Sams, spend on Fox News?” Additionally, Trump described Ian Sams as a “just below ordinary guy.”
