The Counter Terrorism Department detained seven people while conducting operations in different cities of Punjab Province. The accused people include two most wanted terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij.
“129 Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) are conduced in different cities of Punjab, and seven assassins are arrested,” CTD spokeperson.
According to the spokeperson, Punjab’s Anti-Terrorism Department of Punjab carried out the secret missions in Lahore, Bhakkar, Attock, Wehari, Bahawalpur and Jhang.
Security forces apprehened two dangerous terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij from the provincial capital and Bhakkar along with weapons and explosive materials. “Explosive materials, arms, IED bombs, two mobile phones, banned pamphlets and cash were recovered from the accused”, CTD Spokeman added
Notably, CTD Punjab detained 18 terrorists, in 134 IBOs in various cities of the province. Among which 3 were the most dangerous terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij.
The intelligence based operation was carried out in Lahore, Khushab, Gujranwala, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin and Mianwali.
