Authorities are investigating a high-profile assault at Saif Ali Khan Bandra residence, where CCTV footage revealed no evidence of an intruder entering in the two hours preceding the attack.
This suggested the assailant may have entered earlier and concealed themselves until striking.
The incident, which took place around 2:30 AM, has raised suspicions of a premeditated attack.
Police confirmed that no movements were detected on the property after midnight, pointing to the possibility that the individual had gained access earlier.
During the confrontation, the 54-year-old Saif Ali Khan sustained six stab wounds before the attacker fled the scene.
Mumbai Police are meticulously examining security footage to uncover the perpetrator’s identity.
In an official statement, the police noted, “Actor Saif Ali Khan was injured during an altercation with an unidentified individual who unlawfully entered his residence. The investigation is ongoing, and the actor is receiving medical care.”
The incident has added to concerns about security in Bandra, a prominent area housing numerous celebrities.
