Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Founder Imran Khan said that his position on Palestine had always been clear, both in the past and today: “We must move towards a two-state solution for any meaningful discussion to take place,”.
Imran Khan remarked that no discussions could occur with Israel until the genocide of Palestinians is stopped and a ceasefire is achieved.
He made these remarks while informally talking to the reporters at Adiala jail on Monday.
He reiterated, “My stance has been clear in the past and remains the same today: we must move towards a two-state solution for any meaningful discussion.”
Khan pointed out that what some may not have understood is that an Israeli newspaper actually praised him, stating that he is the only leader from Pakistan who has credibility on the world stage.
In the article published in the Israeli newspaper, Imran Khan was described as the most suitable personality for Pakistan-Israel relations. It is noteworthy that the previous day, an article in the Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post labeled the PTI founder as a supporter of Israel.
The article stated that despite making anti-Israel statements, former Prime Minister Imran Khan continued to signal for better relations with Israel, describing him as a like-minded politician for Israel. It suggested that his electoral success would provide an opportunity to reassess Pakistan-Israel relations.
