China’s National Health Commission (NHC) is conducting a survey to discover the factors causing declining birthrate in the country.
NHC is to conduct this survey to find out the reasons for declining birth rate in China.
According to NHC reports the survey will cover participants from 150 counties and 1,500 different communities across the country.
This survey is organized by the China Population and Development Research Center, which operates under the NHC.
According to previous survey reports, China is facing decline in birth rate from two years.
For this concern NHC decided to conduct a survey to figure out the reasons behind this birthrate fall.
The survey aims to explore the hesitations and concerns of couples about having children. “The survey is intended to guide the development of fertility support programs and incentives” NHC report says.
The last survey on family, birthrate and fertility was conducted in 2021.
This new survey aims to collect sample on larger scale to give more accurate results.
