Renowned comic singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan opened up on Mathira show viral video controversy.
Previously, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was in headlines for his allegedly harassing behavior towards TV host Mathira.
During an interview on Mathira’s show, a clip of Chahat’s indecent behavior went viral on social media. In this clip Chahat can be seen posing with Mathira which made the host uneasy. Internet users condemned Chahat for making Mathira uncomfortable during the interaction.
Recently in an interview, the singer addressed this controversy for which he received heavy criticism.
He said that people have made bad remarks about him without knowing the truth. Chahat explained that in those viral clicks, which are misinterpreted, he just tried to put his hands on Mathira’s shoulder.
“First Mathira put her hands on my shoulder, later I also put my hands on her shoulder to complete the posture. I didn’t had bad intentions. This is all I want to say”, Chahat said.
Despite his explanation internet users are still criticizing the artist for his below the belt gesture. But some believe that people should not misinterpreted those images to spoil a person’s reputation.
However, some internet users turned the incident into a a hilarious meme, adding a humorous twist to the whole scenario.
