While addressing in a press conference, Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed said that a “game” has begun, there is a strong competition between the two sides.
The former Federal Minister stated that he can’t comment at the recent debate on 26th amendment in constitution. The leader compared the situation to a sports match, saying that the whistle will blow soon, and time is running out for those in power.
He hinted that when the authorities will open gates unexpectedly, people will question why they were removed.
Rasheed criticized the government for the recent conference, “The curfew disrupted educational institutions and business hubs, harming people’s daily lives”.
Former FM mentioned that the capital city was locked for five days but refrained commenting on the current amendment issue.
Rasheed expressed respect for Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, noting his long-standing connection with his family. Adding that he will meet the Rehman soon.
Sheikh Rasheed concluded that he is ready for any decision after 40 days of struggle.
