A tragic accident claimed the life of a female student from Bahauddin Zakariya University on Tuesday when she was struck by a speeding bus near Multan’s Saidan Bypass.
According to reports, the incident occurred due to the driver’s inability to control the bus while over-speeding. Following the accident, the driver fled the scene.
Officers from the Gulgasht Colony Police Station promptly arrived at the location to handle the necessary formalities.
In a separate incident, a young student named Mohammad Imad, a first-year college student and son of Mohammad Owais, lost his life near Tarbela Dam in Haripur.
Imad had been on an outing with his father at Ghazi Barrage Lake and had paused to rest near a hill in Chandni Chowk Colony when a sudden landslide tragically crushed him. His funeral prayers were held at Tarbela Dam Ground in Chandni Chowk.
