Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr. has recently shared the joyful news of his nikkah, posting photos from his visit to the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia. On Thursday, Wasim announced the news on Instagram, where he posted two pictures: one showing him and his wife holding hands and another capturing them together inside Makkah’s Grand Mosque.
His announcement was met with congratulatory messages and well-wishes from fans, who filled the comments section with their support and happiness for the newlyweds as they embark on this new chapter together.
Originally from North Waziristan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. has made his mark in cricket playing for the Quetta Gladiators in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL). During the season, he took nine wickets in eight matches, with an average of 33 and an economy rate of 9.90.
Despite his impressive performance in the PSL, Wasim Jr. did not make it to Pakistan’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. The spot competition was tough, with established players like Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Amir already in the lineup.
Additionally, Wasim Jr. has been dealing with a back injury that he sustained during a recent domestic tournament. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, focusing on his recovery.
