An explosion was reported outside the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office in Qila Abdullah, Balochistan, on Wednesday evening.
Officials stated that the blast occurred as a vehicle carrying a Levies Force investigation officer and another personnel was passing by. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The assistant commissioner of Qila Abdullah explained that the officer was leaving the NADRA office for home when the bomb, planted in the city’s main sewer line, detonated.
It remains uncertain whether the vehicle was the intended target or if it was coincidentally nearby at the time of the explosion.
Security forces have cordoned off the area, restricting access as investigations continue to determine the nature of the attack.
