The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has declared that it will issue Original Before Time (OBT) certificates for the 2021-22 matriculation and intermediate exams at no cost.
This move is set to benefit thousands of students who participated in these exams over the past two years. BISE Lahore oversees the examination process for matriculation and intermediate levels in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib.
Normally, BISE Lahore provides matriculation and intermediate certificates after a delay following the annual exams, though result cards are issued promptly to facilitate college or university applications.
The latest announcement confirms that OBT certificates for both the 2021 and 2022 annual examinations are now available without any charge.
For regular students, an authority letter from their educational institution must accompany their application. Private candidates only need to submit their application to obtain their certificates.
The board has also instructed students to report any instances where staff members request fees or bribes for issuing these certificates to the secretary’s office.
